Oscar Agramonte

Oscar has been immersed in the physical fitness industry since the 1990’s.
Oscar's interest in the elements of health and fitness began at an early age and has continued to build throughout his life.
When he moved to Orlando from New York, Oscar sought out and achieved his first personal training certification and also began learning martial arts. Oscar began studying with Sifu’s (teachers) at the Wah Lum Kung Fu Temple over 10 years ago. At Wah Lum, he discovered a more comprehensive method of physical training. Oscar learned both Tai Chi Chuan and Kung Fu. This allowed him to implement a higher level of balance, flexibility, conditioning and physical endurance to his own fitness training and lifestyle. Oscar continually looks to enhance his knowledge of health sciences and applications, which led him to achieve the following certifications: Functional Movement Screen (FMS), kettlebell instructor certifications; first with Steve Cotter under the International Kettlebell and Fitness Federation (IKFF), then with the Dragon Door organization (HKC, RKC), and now the Strong First organization (SFG) under Pavel. He is also a Certified MBSC Thrive trainer under the Michael Boyle Strength and Conditioning program to offer clients the most comprehensive performance enhancement training, reconditioning and personal training in the nation.
After years of training and studying, Oscar is now a certified instructor at the Wah Lum Kung Fu Temple. He teaches Kung Fu and Tai Chi daily, and 3 years ago began a kettlebell and body weight class that has evolved into the Wah Lum FIT program.
What we have learned over the years is that good, fluid movement is the building block of fitness. The basic principles of breathing, stabilizing, proper body mechanics, and power production can be applied in kung fu, tai chi, kettlebells or body weight exercises. How you choose to express it is up to you. Our goal
at Wah Lum FIT is to help people get FIT no matter what condition they are in. We start by emphasizing clean movement first, allowing the body to work as it was designed, and then delivering outstanding results.
At Wah Lum FIT we can design and maintain fitness plans that will enable you to have constant progress and development. The principles we teach can be learned by anyone, and the hope is to spread this natural way of health to many more lives.

Mimi Chan
Mimi Chan has been training in martial arts since she was 3 years old. A University of Central Florida Graduate, Mimi has been teaching kung fu full time at the Wah Lum Temple for the over 25 years. She was trained by her husband, Oscar, in kettlebells and body weight exercises since 2009, and has completed the Strong First Kettlebell Course. She is also a Certified MBSC Thrive Trainer, under the Michael Boyle Strength and Conditioning program. Mimi believes everyone should take control of their health and wellness to live a quality life.
